I believe there is no “god” outside of the self, we are the higher power we seek because not only do we contain the essence of life within us, but we have the capability to be aware of that life essence.
I believe that life is eternal because life is always present and because of that I believe that death is not the opposite of life. Life has no opposite, I believe that death is the opposite of birth and present consciousness.
Instead of “sin” I believe that it is the ego that has brought such dysfunction on the world we live in. The ego keeps us focused on the past and future instead of the present where life is and always will be and I believe “salvation” comes when one is able to separate themselves from the ego.
As far as morality, I think it’s really just basic common sense- love, cause no harm, and let everyone be.
